Just for the sake of clarification, MLM's are not necessarily scams just like not all doctors are quacks or lawyers shysters. The MLM business model is in and of itself legitimate. However, there are and have been fraudulent MLM’s that give the entire industry a bad name. But I challenge anyone to name an industry that does not suffer, in at least some small measure, from fraudulent behavior and criminals. That being said, you can check out the DSA (Direct Sellers Association) to find legitimate home-based businesses. Though, I warn you that most will be the dreaded MLM model.
