What scams should I watch out for when vacationing in Jamaica?

I'm going to Jamaica in a few weeks on vacation. I've travelled all around the world and I'm not scared or anything, I just need to know some of the more common scams so I can protect myself.

1. If you partake in the ganja watch out for people that offer you a joint in bars and nightclubs, after you take a drag they will demand you pay for it (usually a rediculous amount) , if you refuse to pay your likely to meet a couple of large goons...always refuse what seems like a friendly pass from people you dont know. I think some the other answerers are not understanding the question, I have been all over the world and have seen all kinds of scams that are particular to those areas, In New Orleans people try to guess where you bought your shoes, in Thailand rickshaw drivers will drive you to jewelry shops regardless of where you told them to go, In the middle east fake"parking attendants" will try to get you to pay for free parking, In the Philippines credit card cloning is common. If the other answerers have never had someone try to scam them they are not getting out much. There are scams that are particular to those areas and even the most experienced travellers are amazed and will ask what is particular to that area. The question wasnt wether he should worry about being scammed, it was what was particular to Jamaica....
2. First of all don't trust pple who talk all the time about scammers, gangsters, gigolos and how dangerous Jamaica is, and that only he is a good guy and only his services/"friendship" you need to use. Such as "don't use local route taxis, it's not safe, only use my taxi (10-20 times expensiver)" and so on. Also try to use only one currency all the time (i prefer jamaican dollars) because when you change money all the time you can spend more then you think, plus exchange rate can be really different in different places.
3. Just use common sense. If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is.
4. Same as in the US, Just look out for every thing and use your head, remember to take your head and brain with you, scams come in all form Jamaican scams, American Scams, Canadian Scams, Bahamas Scams, Cubans Scam, Trinidad Scams are all the same Scams.
5. Scams are common to every country you go to. The same precautions you would take at home or in any other country should be the same ones you exercise here in Jamaica as well.
